Very helpful customer service. Pays out claims in good time. Reasonable rates and very friendly. My dog recently passed away and they were so compassionate and caring. They even sent a personalized handwritten card of condolences. Really appreciate that they actually do care about our animals.

I received a letter stating that my policy would be cancelled if I did not continue my payments. Then a subsequent letter stating that my policy was cancelled and that was all. Then today, I get a letter from a collection agency saying I owe them almost $200.00. What a joke of a company. I knew not continuing my coverage with them was for the best. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY......Looks like FRAUD to me. How dare you send anything to a collection agency? I dont owe you guys anything. You can delete this post of you want, I will not only fight this but, I will ensure that everyone on cyberspace and beyond, knows about your SHADY TACTICS. UNBELIEVABLE.

update. I no longer trust this company. I signed up a new pet. she had soft poop when eating puppy food which was reported during the first vet first as we talked about good food for her. after the wait period, she went to the vet with a parasite. because of soft poop due to food, not covered. they will do everything they can not to pay out. company has gone down hill since they expanded. I will try a different company for this new pet. major vet bills due to illness. everything was covered without issue. the only thing that would be easier would be to find an easier way to claim repeated items such as vet diet food. as it is now I need to have the vet sign for every claim, even though it's a repeated ongoing purchase. I would most certainly recommend to anyone.

PC pet insurance unfortunately moved our account to Pets plus us. Our cat is over 3 and we had never made a claim. Our first claim ever for our cat was with pets plus a few months ago and they had us send all medical history to them even though we were already paying into the policy for 3 years. We then received an email saying â€œwe are now able to underwrite your policyâ€.. so what were we paying into all this time?? Should all the history not have been requested when we first started paying pets plus us? It feels as though we were paying but not even covered up until now. Took months to get out money from one claim as they kept saying we didnâ€™t send in the whole history. Now we find out we have maxed out coverage for urinary issues for one year which is only $500. This should be made more clear in the policy. Stay away from this company. I am currently trying to find out if I can find something better and if not will most likely cancel.
