We have really enjoyed building our (now 3) aquariums from the wares, gear and fish from VI Pets! Make sure you get their membership card for awesome discounts! We have never had any issues with any fish or frogs bought here.

It's pretty small with a very limited selection, but it isn't bad. They have an area that looks like it is supposed to hold puppies maybe, however I've never actually seen any pets in it. So far I've only ever seen rodents, birds, rabbits, cats (sporadically), and fish. So if your looking for anything else I recommend calling ahead of time and speaking with someone!

Pretty particular to this store. Privately owned. Nice owners. Good staff. They can be pricey even with their VIP program. We walked in originally to get fish for our tank. Wound up purchasing a small aquarium and inside it included everything to start a hamster/mouse habitat. With that purchase included half price on your animal. So i wound up purchasing that kit and a hamster for less than $65. I was pleased with the deal. Then my girlfriend that same day purchased a baby bunny and startup habitat for less than $70. (Completely forgot to buy fish lol). My preferred pet store in Holland.

Prices and stock are always good. If there's an odd thing or two I can't find at Chow Hound they usually have something in stock. Good place for reptile and invert supplies. Need to keep their tropical animals in better humidity.
