My fiance took my old lady, Sparty (golden retriever), here last week and I am so happy we did. He told me that they were so kind and nice to Sparty. I get very nervous taking her to any groomer because of her age. When I came home and saw how great she looked, PLUS THE STITCH BANDANA THAT SHE HAD ON, I will always take her here. She looks and feels great. She is much cooler and so soft. I can just tell that she is happier. She wasn't stressed when she got home! Thank you for the awesome service!!

I brought my 14 year old Shetland Sheepdog, Shawnee, here to be groomed yesterday afternoon. We had been here twice before, so we know that Shawnee is a little bit more difficult to work with due to his older age (He has a hard time standing for long periods of time). So when I approached the employee at the front desk, Alyssa/Alisa, I made sure to offer to stay and help if they needed someone to help hold him up. I also made sure to mention that last time they had cut too close to the calluses on his elbows (front leg joints) and to please be careful around that area. 2 hours later I pick up Shawnee and notice huge open wounds on his elbows (see pictures) and asked the staff what had happened and if any antibiotic ointment had been used. An extremely nice older women who looked to be a groomer helped by applying some medicine and showed concern for my dog. I had then asked to speak to a manager, she was not there at the time so I had an employee text her and ask to call me ASAP. I received a call this morning from the manager, Theresa, and she attempted to convince me that the wounds were derived from bathing Shawnee. She stated that they had noticed the wounds after the bath and avoided shaving the area. I have given my dog many baths in his lifetime, this has NEVER happened before. There is absolutely no way these large open wounds are from a bath. Theresa also offered no apology or concern for my dog either. I'm very disappointed and upset for the lack of care and compassion for my childhood puppy. I would like to warn anyone who thinks of taking their dog here, especially if they are of an older age. I WILL NEVER BRING MY DOG BACK HERE, I'll be the only one grooming him from now on. I also apologize for the graphic photos, just want everyone to see the consequences of a negligent dog grooming establishment. He also had been taken to the vet and given an antibiotic ointment for anyone concerned.

The absolute best grooming experience in the downriver area. I've been a loyal customer for several years now and I have never been disappointed with the work they perform. The place is always clean, well lit and smells great, considering.... The entire staff truly love animals and you won't have to worry about your pet after dropping it off. They have a nice selection food, toys and accessories. And my doggy Champ just can't get enough of the healthy all- natural treats. 🌟👍🌟

My vet I go to recommended this place. I felt rude vibes since I walked in the door and judgement. My dog is a Shi Tzu and a crazy haired dog. He had knots in his hair and they said they didn’t want to take him because they didn’t want to hurt him. I never heard of that in my life. My mother’s boyfriend has a similar dog and the grooming she goes to takes care of her dogs knots without a problem. I wanted to try this place because I heard it was good. The woman working at the desk kind of gave my dog a saddened look and then got the groomer and said a vet would have to do it, but they seen how playful and nice my dog was and told me to bring him back. Um no! You basically just told me you want someone else to do all the work. I felt like I was judged from the knots in his hair when he is simply a crazy haired dog. I will never come back here.

Great experience and they do what they can to make sure that your pet is well taken care of and groom properly. Very reasonably priced.
