I found a stray cat a few days ago, and already having cats at home I couldn't take a stray in, even though she was clean and very affectionate. I had never taken an animal of any kind here before, as I felt it was generally a death sentence, especially for an older one. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they really take pride in their work, and are pretty much a no kill shelter, that will do everything they can for animals, and try and find them homes. It didn't make it any easier leaving the cat there, but as time wears on, it makes it better knowing that she will get the best care and a new home.

Very helpful when we adopted Milo and Murphy. They make sure that all little animals find a caring home

I adopted a cat from here recently. The amount of pre-adoption care, effort, and medical attention, that goes into these animals is truly amazing. They were thorough in their reference check, which is important, they sent my cat off with flea medicine, a few days' food, and trimmed nails. The write up about him had been (almost) bang on. I am very, very, impressed, and grateful that there are organizations like this one in the world.

Much more than a place to adopt a pet. Wonderful caring people

I would love to volunteer walking a dog there but for free labor they're very picky and specific and they don't do a very good job of communicating with you about walkable dogs and so forth otherwise I enjoy going to see the animals there's currently one there that I would love to buy
