This is a great, find-everything, pet store. They have a great selection of everything you need for your cat or dog, including specialty food. The prices seem a bit expensive if you are comparing to what you would find in the grocery store, but the quality of the products at Pet Valu are also higher. This store also has great hours, and is clean and well organized.

Great place to bring your pets. They have a $10.00 bathing station for your dog which supplies the towels, shampoo, conditioner and treats. They are happy for you to pet the rescue cat any time to be sure he/she is not ignored.

We go here a lot for our 1.5yo Golden Doodle. Its right around the corner of our house which is convenient. The workers are always friendly although a little quiet. The selection they have is great although somewhat pricey. The best part about this store is the dog washing station! $10 let's you wash your dog in their raised ceramic tubs, including a selection of shampoo/conditioner, treats for your pup, towel service and an air hose to dry! No brainier for big dogs especially since every 7th wash is free!

So I’ve never left a negative review before but our experience at this pet valu was awful. We went in about 15 mins to close on July 23rd looking for an ear cleaner for our dog. Now I’m a regular customer of pet valu and thought we’d try this one as it’s the closest one to our house. Big mistake! Right off the bat the only employee who was working at the time seemed genuinely annoyed that we were there. We asked her where the ear cleaner was and she was short with us, gave an “I don’t know, this area.” And continues racing around getting the store ready to close. The place she pointed out wasn’t even where the ear cleaner ended up being. Then when I went to pay she still seemed to be annoyed that we were still there and when she rang through our purchase I gave her $20 in cash and she tried giving me $9 in small change (ie dimes and nickels) when I asked her to change payment to a card she said it couldn’t be done. So I asked her to refund it and re-try the purchase with a card because two fistfuls of change is rediculous...still no...so I decided to not buy the product. At no point did she offer an apology or another way of doing things. The entire time she was just angry we were there. And as soon as we left She locked the door and turned out all the lights. Still a few minutes before closing. Definitely did not want us there at all and we will not be going back. I do not understand why she couldn’t have warned me before hand that she was nearly out of change and asked for another form of payment. As someone with 20 years in the pet industry (professional pet stylist, veterinary assistant) this was an extremely disappointing experience from a company I have had only good things to say about...until now. Awful customer service and bad attitude.

I come here for the convenience of the location. Its definitely not my favourite. The prices are comparable to other pet stores. Place is clean. Plenty of parking. My only thing is the staff aren't too great. They aren't too friendly or welcoming. There's been a few times when I've checked for deals before coming here and was told that the deals ended, when they have not. I even check again after being told and have left the store. They also have adorable cats for adoption at this location.
