I hate to write this, but I moved to Oshawa about almost two years now, and Paws for Thought was very close to my house. Gayle has groomed my dogs several times, in the past two years, and she did a good job. However I took my dog, my boy to be groomed on Tuesday, September 11th, I agreed to have the other girl that works for Gayle to groom him. My dog has a skin condition and I tried to worn them that it might be ringworm condition. Gayle was grooming a smal Maltese dog that was deaf and it was crying when I was dropping off my boy, I asked what’s wrong with the dog, and Gayles employee told me that it’s a stupid deaf dog, that did not sit well with me, I know we all have bad days, so I dropped off my dog, and walked back to my car, the salon door was open and I heard them say that : I’m stupid and I don’t know what I’m talking about, that my dog doesn’t have ringworm, my dog had a vet appointment that same day, so he had to be clipped, if it was not for that I will have walked in and taken my dog elsewhere. However they clipped him, I took my dog to my vet and told him about the situation. My vet suggested that they were not supposed to take him in, after I told them that he might have ringworm, let alone calling a deaf dog stupid, and calling me stupid. I agree ☝️. However I got the test results today for my dog, and yes he has a ringworm, probably got it from the same groomers since the place is not that clean, and they don’t pay attention when you worn them, but they call you stupid. Let alone disinfect equipment. Sorry Gayle, but I’m not ever bringing my dogs there again. That girl that works for you, she has no compassion about animals and I don’t think she is fit for the job. I have two other dogs and I was planning to book them in for grooming but I found another groomer. Good luck P. S. Never call a paying customer stupid.

My girlfriend just got my dogs hair groomed from Paws for Thought and they did a fantastic job! I have taken her to other dog groomers that were twice as expensive and they don't compare to Paws for Thought. Great job ladies!

Walking into this facility, Jenny had the biggest, and most genuine smile! From the first time that I spoke with Jenny to book the appointment, I knew that this was the right place for my little/big labradoodle girl! Thank you Jenny!

I got my cat groomed here for $70 after less than an hour's work. The cat had spotty fur with chunks of uncut hair everywhere. It looks absolutely terrible

We took our very timid labradoodle Charlie to Paws for Thought this morning and had a wonderful experience. Charlie is usually very nervous around people and she loved Jenny. Jenny was fabulous and did a great job. We've found our new groomer and will never go elsewhere. Very reasonably priced too. 😍
