Top Dog is so incredible! Our dog Archie is a very energetic dog and he comes home absolutely exhausted. He is always very excited to go and doesn't want to leave. The staff are really amazing and very nice. Always great to talk to and treat the dogs like they are family.

Ashley and her team are absolutely amazing. The service is A++. Our pups look handsome and pretty after spending a few hours with the team. Highly recommend this grooming service. 💗

I don't attend Top Dog however I am a professional dog trainer and I also board dogs. I have known Kathy for many many years in a professional capacity and we have worked in a professional organization together. I know first hand how dedicated she is to her business and to the care she provides. It is pretty clear that she is experiencing something that we all dread and that is an internet smear campaign. I am also a breeder. Just yesterday I recommended Top Dog to one of my puppy buyers because I know how much Kathy and her staff care. I would only recommend Top Dog for one of my puppy owners. I wish you strength Kathy while you sort through this. I know how difficult this must be for you.

Our boy Hank absolutely loves going to Daycare at Top Dog! We turn onto the road and his tail starts wagging and he can not get out of the truck fast enough! He drags us into the building - this is definitely the type of behavior that puts my mind at ease that he receives the best of care here! Thank you Kathy and all of your loving staff!

It pains me to write this review since prior to our incident, our dog Louie loved attending Top Dog and we, his owners trusted bringing him there for his puppy training, their doggy daycare, as well as grooming. When picking our dog up from daycare I waited longer than usual in the parking lot for him to be brought out to me. When he was brought out, he had blood / bite marks on his fur and skull as well on the eye lid. I was shocked asking what happened and was told that the incident happened moments before my pick up and that was the reason for the delay. When asking what happened I was told (blamed) that because Louie was not yet neutered, and he is overly “friendly” with other dogs… he was being “too friendly” with a certain dog that didn’t appreciate it and this particular dog turned back and bit him. I was essentially scolded for Louie’s behaviour in the parking lot and told if he does not get neutered that he is not welcome back at their facility. That evening was filled with my numerous calls to their facility requesting information of the dog who attacked ours for vet records, as well as expenses out of our pocket for emergency care to our dog, along with several follow ups appointments. Reflecting back - I checked in on Louie multiple times per day anytime he was left in their care, calling from work on breaks and lunches to ensure everything was running smoothly and though in the past the staff mentioned he was being “friendly” they never mentioned it being a concern to safety or asked me not to bring him in. I also communicated a date of neuter since we had it booked for a certain age and this was never an issue with the staff. My concerns are, there was no apology whatsoever when my dog was returned to me. There was finger pointing and blame on me the owner. For a client who spent hard earned money, and placed trust in their centre, there was no emotion when my dog was returned to me injured and needing medical attention. I was shrugged off in the parking lot and while in shock - I was told to put Polysporin on my dog, meanwhile the vet suggested surgery on the injured eye lid. The other concern is - if you are running a professional centre and allegedly are seeing a repeat issue with my dog isolate him, or place him with appropriate dogs that are supervised or monitored - if need be ask me not to bring him in for the safety of others and himself. I am someone who loves my dog. This whole experience broke our hearts.
