Brought my dog to this groomer as she was recommended by a co-worker but the day that I brought my dog there, the groomer was having a mental breakdown or something because I waited in her doorway with my dog and her husband opened the door and said she'll be right out. While I was waiting inside her home, I noticed that you have to go downstairs into a basement to get your pet groomed. I didn't like that part because who know's how it's set up down there as she takes your dog from you then goes downstairs. That was problem number 1. Number 2, while I was patiently waiting for this groomer to come to the door for my dog, I heard her saying to her husband that she couldn't do this anymore as she was sobbing and then I heard them fighting as he was trying to force her out of a room in the back of the house while their little daughter was with me, a complete stranger in their home. They were literally physically fighting in the hallway while I was hearing banging on walls with some part of her body and her screaming I can't do this anymore. The groomer ended up getting free from her husband and slamming a door shut behind her in the back of the house and locking herself in as I heard her husband trying to open the handle unsuccessfully. I was hearing all of this from the inside of the home and by this time my dog was so nervous and panicking in my own arms from the ruckus that my dog was shaking nervously. I looked at the little girl and poor thing, I can well imagine how it is behind closed doors. This was my first and last time there. After a few minutes I wasn't sure what to do but her husband ended up coming back to me in the doorway and said she's having a few issues because she hurt her wrist. That was an understatement from what I was hearing first hand. He then said I can take the dog and I replied "no that's ok, obviously you guys have a lot of issues to deal with and I'm not leaving my dog here with you guys" and I walked out of their house with my nervous dog in my arms at this point. I didn't even want to stick around for anything else. There's enough I had stuck around long enough to witness all of this because at that point I was worried for the little girls safety. There was no way in hell I was leaving my beloved pet with these people! Even though my dog really needed to be groomed, if all of this took place in front of me can you really image what takes place when you leave your pet alone? NO THANKS. I went back to my car as I was shaking myself at this point of what had just unfolded in front of me and called my husband to tell him what took place. I would never leave my animal with this groomer as she seems to be very unstable and pets do not need this kind of stress as they are already stressed for many reasons. Please take your pets to a reputable groomer that doesn't groom in their basement when you can't even see what's going on behind closed doors. As you can see from my experience that you never know what kind of groomer you get. I really did feel sorry for the groomer but I would never leave my dog at this location due to safety concerns. It's not to say that she can't groom, but I will never take that chance with my dog to either get hurt or abused in a setting such as this to find out either. I will NEVER recommend this groomer!!
