Why does this shelter not give back animals to there rightful owners when they are found but want to charge them $250 dollars to get them back and if you dont pay it they tell you to bad you cant pay then your animal is going up for adoption.. This is so wrong specially when the animal already has a loving home and the family is missing there fur baby

I am very grateful they are no kill facility and after reading through some of the post I want people to stop for one second and look at the whole picture these people have to make sure that these animales know matter what they're species are put into a home where everyone involved is safe and comfortable. These beautiful animales have a past, most of them a very horeible one. Some of them so horeible they can only begin to guess on by how they arrived their. I have had foster animales around my whole life and work with wild life and they help them too. So I know the risk that is involved and know that this facility doesn't just take in animals to adopt them out or to kill them but to make sure the animals is first. That is their job. These animales have been let down by humans already why would any real animal lover allow that again. I'm sorry but if driving 30mins is so bad to be told an animal is to nervous for your home environment, I'd have to agree that they made the right choice especially after seeing the anger you have in your post over not getting your way. This place works with these animales for some times a year before they even post them available and they where not trying to insult you but some of these animales regardless of your experience cannot tolirat an environment with children or being alone for long or without a yard there are so many considerations. I hope everyone finds their forever best friend to save they so need it. But know that each one of them are as special as the other I cannot ever chose I want them all. Also know that they are as important as a child they need proper food to live a good life exercise and unconditional love. They are the same as us we are all animales evolving at different rates. Blessings to you all 🙏🙏🙏

Drove half an hour with the intention of adopting a beautiful pup. Got to see and look at her fell in love. When we went to go through with the adoption we were told no because the dog is shy. Don’t know how you expect to give these animals a forever home when you will not let an adoption go through. Didn’t ask us many questions about experience with dogs or anything, just told us no. Good luck adopting a dog here & I feel very bad for the lil pup we were going to get.

We have filed FIVE complaints regarding an aggressive dog that is never leashed. It has physically attacked our dog leaving welts on her side. He attacked a friends dog on my driveway just a few days ago. The list is endless.... I don't know who to contact since Animal Services is REFUSING to follow through on these complaints. I was threatened with a $115 fine if I didn't license my dog by today. Yet they have done NOTHING regarding the aggressive dog. I called to speak yo Erica again today, told she won't be in until Tues. Isn't that great? She better hope no one gets hurt by this dog over the next 4 days. I hold her personally responsible for any injury this dog inflicts on any dog, cat, or human. My patience has run out! DO YOUR JOB!!! 😠
