I've used this store many times because of the self-wash facilities - which are great. I've reserved them on every occasion in the past few years so I don't think it's a new policy. The reason I ALWAYS book in advance, is because it simply makes sense. Knowing I can book the wash area at a time that fits into my schedule is value-add in my opinion. The service in the store is friendly and helpful and I have no complaints at all.

They have RAW FOOD! yay! Owner's a doll, super friendly and knowledgeable. The support local raw food suppliers, and they have it all in stock which is BIG in my books. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful staff with a nice selection of pet supplies

It now seems that in order to use the self wash facilities you are best to make a reservation....denied use of facilities as someone had booked the facilities. May I strongly suggest to the management that if you plan to change company policies that the new rules be posted clearly for all to see. It is unfortunate that this store goes against any other Pet Valu with self wash facilities. Head office will be notified this store has permanently lost my business as a breeder, show dog owner of multiple dogs. Oh the loose dog running around with no leash also goes against other pet store policies. The dog approached our dog from the rear and startled our girl...I am blessed with trained well mannered dogs...not so with whoever owns the white dog of unknown breed.

Great, friendly service.. always. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help. If I ate cat food, I would shop here instead of just bringing it home for my furry friend.
