Clip and Tails is a great grooming service that I always come back to. They have a doggie lift that acts like a harness so that Louise, the business owner wont have as much trouble when grooming them. Its a full body harness that supports the dogs body as they are in the air. I love how the dogs get full roam of the store after their grooming and they are not locked inside a crate like some grooming places, she also has 3 of her own dogs in the store that play with mine and other clients dogs. This proves that Louise has a true passion for grooming any kind of dog or cat, her shop without a doubt deserves a five star rating. By far the best groomer in Cambridge.

WARNING! Do NOT bring your dog here!!! I took my dog down to get a simple nail trim and she hung him from the ceiling and let him drip blood continuously, then decides to still shave it down more. During this time, she had some poor little white dog in a cage with a blow dryer FULL blast in the cage as the dog cried and barked. If i could give this company a zero, I would. After returning home, I realized how bad the nail was and decided to go back and request for my money back, as it was SO pricey for what had happened. She got her back up right away, started screaming at me and told she my dog is f'ing fine, she did her job and get out of her store. She told me she would call the cops if I didn't leave. Other customers were walking in with their dog, and I truly hope they walked out after seeing this women act like this. I paid $30 for a nail trim, so in turn have to warp his leg because it was getting infected after i saw my actual vet. PLEASE, do NOT take your dog here if you love your dog. She should be shut down by the mess, the uncleanliness and the lack of compassion she had for people and pets!

For the love of god DO NOT take your babies here. I was referred by Elise who had been doing my girls for a while, she was now retiring and passing on her client's to Louise. I loved Elise and she always took care of my babies. The first time I took them here Elise was there and she told Louise the new owner how I like my girls cut. I was pleased with their cuts. The next time I took them there I advised Louise how I like their cuts and left. When she called me to come and pick the girls up I asked if she could trim one of my dogs faces a little bit more as it looked like she didn't even touch it. She looked at me and sighed as if I was a burden, picked my dog up and plopped her on the table and put a tie around her neck as if she was going to strangle her. At this point my dog was not having it and she was yelling at her to STOP MOVING and kept yelling. As I was watching this with horror she told me to move to the side and out of my dogs view because she could see me. She kept yelling at my dog and when I had enough of her yelling I just told her to give me my dogs. I paid and left and vowed to NEVER take them here again. If this is how she treats the dogs when the owner is present I cant even being to imagine how she treats them when they are not there.😡😡

We took our dog to get groomed there the price was good I would recommend it to anyone who asked me. I found it quiet the other places that I have went to with my dog I've been loud and he doesn't like the loud noises so it was nice. When we went there it was quiet.

We have a oldie Goldie. Tuckie Bear is a 13 year old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees and no one wants to groom him anymore due to his size, weight and arthritis. Knowing it’s dog lovers reading this, you’ll understand that we called several groomers, offering to pay more or even helping with lifting during grooming. But no one bite...literally! But then someone told me about this kind lady and the rest is history. Louisa actually booked Tuckie’s appointments after store hours so he would have more time to rest. She also employed the help of her children and hubby to lift him so he was comfortable. After all this pampering he looks amazing and has been able to tolerate 2 hair cuts. Tuckie will be 14 in June and looks 10 lol. Thx Louisa for all your TLC, it’s much appreciated. A friendly, dedicated groomer. I highly recommend this lady.
