Friendly well maintained 🐎 with excellent staff and an absolutely beautiful indoor arena. This little peace of heaven is just great. They have even have mini horse's for small children.

Terrible Horse Boarding Facility Initially the owner/operator Angel was lovely and there were very high hopes that this would be a lovely boarding facility. She was attentive to hay, waters and care. She said that boarders were welcome at the property 24/7, any day of the year. The hay was good quality, although heavily regulated. Extra hay was available at a cost only. The water has a strong sulfur aroma the entire time I was there, several months; additionally there are "water issues" on the property, as such the owner allows you only 1 bucket of water. Note that paddocks are extremely muddy in spring/fall (think a good 5-10 inches of mud). After approximately 1 month at Heaven's Gait the level of care decreased and Angel became increasingly less agreeable to the point where I no longer wanted to visit the horses. I found that the stalls were not properly mucked out on multiple occasions, indoor board horses were often hungry and had no hay for hours. I would arrive mid day and there would be no hay, when I would return a good 7 hours later, still no hay or signs that hay had been given to any of them. The combative mannerisms of the owner/operator on multiple occasions, were unprofessional and highly offensive. On two occasions she raised her voice to another indoor boarder to the point of yelling; the issue being caring for my horses in a manner that fit the boarding agreement. It became increasingly apparent that she did not want me at the barn, that she wanted to operate on her own schedule, doing things when it was convenient for her. There is no set feeding schedule, hay is given randomly with no sense of scheduling. No schedule for bringing horses in and out, often indoor board horses are left out past dark. When Angel is contacted regarding concerns, she would reply that she was on it; arriving an hour after the exchange and still there would be no progress. At times I would find that indoor horses were being fed moldy hay, every farmer gets a bad bail every now and then; but don't feed it to your boarder's horses. In the end she charged extra for doing stalls (which is included in the board agreement, but she started charging extra), additional cost for blanketing, bringing the horses in and out, feeding the horses grain, shavings. Basic necessities that were included in the original board agreement now coming as additional charges leave a bad taste in my mouth. While I cannot comment on lessons or trail rides also offered at the facility, I would NOT recommend going to Heaven's Gait to indoor board your horses.
