We had taken our dog to ruff cuts for years and never had a problem until our last visit. Our dog is very excitable and does not enjoy going in the car. Once he arrives at our destination it usually takes him 20 to 30 minutes to calm down. The previous owners knew this and always allowed him time to adjust. I dropped him off and headed home. I barely made it in the door, a 5 minute drive, when ruff cuts called refusing to groom him. They stated he was too hyper and was showing signs of severe anxiety. They said they would not groom him unless we took him to the vet and had him medicated first. I was shocked to say the least. In over 10 years of dealing with them there had never been a problem and he always acted the same way. I spoke to the vet and they refused to medicate our dog as there is nothing wrong with him. It became obvious ruff cuts just did not want to have him at their place of business. We found another groomer who is thrilled to have him and understands that he just needs time to adjust after the car ride. I would not recommend ruff cuts as they now lack the compassion and understanding needed by our very active 12 year old dog.

Clean, happy dogs and happy workers #1 groomers in the lindsay area. If you want your dog to be treated like family go here. New owners new staff. Girls are very educated in dog health and safety. 100 % would be back. Pricing is great for the quality and love they put into the dog. Will never go elsewhere.
