I've been taking my wheaten terrier to Timmies for almost 3 years and today I really had a bad experience with them I will never take him back. My dog had an appointment on Monday for his regular groom. My wife took him there at 9h30am and was told that the basement was flooded because of the previous night storm. She rescheduled my dogs groom for Tuesday 11am. She took him again there just to be told that the water tank is broken and that she would have to come back another day. The staff was very rude and did not even offer an apology for having her go there twice. The least they could done is call and let us know about the issue and not having her go all the way there just to be treated in a very rude way without even apologizing. I won't be going there again. My dog doesn't like the place either, he always cries when he gets there (and he never cries)

The lady who groomed my Morkie is the best. 100% returning to the store. Great experience.

Exceeded expectations as a first trip to New groomer. Staff that are really happy to help and make sure that your dog is well taken care of and happy. Didn't take too long, and my dog looked great afterwards. Would definitely recommend

!! MUST READ !! My Yorkie Poo was taken here for a full groom one time before while I was away and from the pictures I saw, I thought they did an amaZing job. Thinking this , I took him in for an appointment recently and the second my dog saw the groomer, he got very scared and skeptical, even though my dog actually loves getting pampered, still, I thought nothing of it, and even if something did happen last time, minor accidents can easily happen, that I understand. They proceeded to tell me that from previous notes, he had problems moving around, he's too matted and they may not be able to work with him. I persisted them to try their best since I came a long way for their "service" and that consisted of them shaving off half his body very unevenly then saying they can't do the rest. Not even just one small area to try.. it was horrible! He looked like he was sick. Poor baby :( ALSO **** Before this happened, I went downstairs to use the washroom, and from behind the scenes I heard one of the groomers yelling aggressively and one of the dogs weeping and crying really loud afterwards **** I don't want to make any assumptions but everything started to add up, why my dog was so scared of only this place and now I see other reviews stating similar situations. Even the way they shaved half of his body then threw him out like he's some sort of dirt.. Just really sad, but I tried to hold in my angry at this point because they tried to tell me that this was a matter for the vet and I thought there was just nothing they could do. It sucks they had to leave him half naked with patches of hair everywhere but I took him to the hospital afterwards and the receptionist there was completely shocked, she got a vet to quickly come out. She told me that a surgical cut wasn't nessacary wth??? and suggested us to take him to another groomer down the street because she felt there was no way someone could turn him down after what's happened and to come back if anything.. The next groomers were fully booked but the people there were so kind and seeing his current condition, they took him in right away which was a BLESSING. 🙏🏽 I didn't realize until now just how badly my dog was mistreated by the ppl at Timmies and I'm still not sure why they would do this..it was definitely not professional, and just plain mean to my dog.. He's so sweet, and not the slight bit aggressive and apparently has never given any problems elsewhere, he's even good when I give him haircuts and baths and I'm no proffiesional lol. But thank you guys for teaching me to look out and be extra cautious of where and who I leave my dog too. Eye opener for sure.
