Our dog has gotten loose twice and both times was immediately brought to the OSPCA so we could pick her up which I appreciated. What I did not appreciate was how my husband was treated like a bad pet owner and given the third degree due to a cyst that our dog has on her back. We cannot get it removed due to her age. It's not cancerous or open. They tried telling us it had maggots in it, which it did not. After picking her up I immediately brought her to our vet to make sure. The vet confirmed, no maggots. I don't understand why they talked down to us in such a manner. It was quite insulting. It's happened twice. Our dog loves her family and we love her, we've had her for 11 years. I pay a monthly fee for regular vet care, she even gets an annual spa day. This location needs to be more tactful and respectful to clients who have had the simple misfortune of having their dog slip her leash. And we had to pay $50 to get her back!

If you ever need help with dog food as long as you have photo ID you can go here as often as once a month. Very helpfully for low income families and in emergensies.

Nice to go see the dogs and cats.

Great organization to help stray animals find a loving home. The only thing is that they do not pick up cats, you have to try & catch them then bring them in. Other than that, it's a great place overall.

I volunteer at the pet and wildlife rescue centre and it is the best place to volunteer at I walk dogs and play with cats and all of them are very friendly I love the animals and staff who let me volunteer. The staff are absolutely understanding and sweet and are busy taking care of customers and extremely busy taking care of all the animals and their co-workers I love paws wildlife rescue Centre. ..❤
