A lot of people that have anything negative to say about this place have posh tiny hearts and should get over themselves. Certainly the place has a bit of character to it, but it's a small zoo off the beaten path a bit that houses a collection of rare and endangered cats and some other hard to find/see wildlife. There's a lot of magic to be found here. You can reserve a slot in advance to feed or pet or get one-on-one behind the scenes with some of the animals found here. We came mostly to see the striped hyena, Ed. Sadly we did not get to since Ed has been a bit lonely BUT he will be getting a girl to relax him next month (October 2018). We will definitely be back someday to see these majestic rare animals again. Beyond that, you'll get to see these guys up closer than you normally would at any other larger city zoo. We'll definitely be coming back to spend the night here at the bed and breakfast which looks like a FANTASTIC cozy place to enjoy. Imagine being in Africa and waking up to the lions, tigers, and other big cats roaring, but without the huge expensive trip to the African Safari. :)

Stayed in the Jaguar den for a night. It was really nice. Great decor!! Met and talked with the owner Wolf. He is a fantastic individual and so are the rest of the staff there. You get to see the animals close up (especially if you do the behind the scenes). When it gets dark you get a whole new experience with Lions roaring at each other. Great place, great people, just love it and will be going back!

Very nice place all out doors so weather would be a factor. Live feeding and proximity to the cats is great. A couple good photo opportunities. Season pass is a very reasonable and worth looking into.it was the same price for a single visit as a season pass, probably a special. Can grab some basic food and concessionsns. Our children had as much fun petting the bunnies as they did watching the cats play. Pretty long drive for us and parking can be a problem but will make an effort to visit a couple times a year.

This was a very nice zoo with some really cool animals! It had a bit of diversity and it wasn't just large cats! I found the Ocelot really cool cause i've never seen one before. The other large cats are also really entertaining. It wasn't very large so it only took us a couple hours to walk around but the kids really loved it. Overall would recommend.

The animals are well kept and respected. The handlers were exceptional. Our guide was Cairo and she was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. It might seem expensive, however taking care of these beautiful creatures cannot be cheap so I felt good to pay because I felt as though it helps care for the animals. A must go
