A very caring facility, their volunteers and staff are remarkable animal lovers. Their adoption process is appropriately thorough, we sincerely appreciate you introducing us to our new pup. Sincerely appreciated, The Ilott's

Very friendly staff who seem to always want what is best for the animals. I adopted a kitten from GTHS and they were very helpful in making that happen, as they provided some free food, 30 days free insurance, a small knitted blanket, a free appointment at the collingwood vet, vanccinations, all on top of the kitten being 75$ to adopt. Typically kittens cost around 150$there however if you wait until the summer they almost always have deals on pets! The GTHS facility is very clean and well funded, which shows the employees/volunteers are doing a great job making a liveable environment for the animals.

The facility was very clean, you can see that they work very hard to keep the animals, healthy and happy while they're waiting for their forever homes, and the staff were very friendly, knowledgable, and quite passionate about the care for these animals.

The receptionist should not be working that position as her personality is a better suit to a Subway sandwich artist. Beware people, anybody with any amount of self respect and a love for animals needs to avoid these people as they are in the business of placing for convenience instead of adopting for love.

A fantastic place for an adoption. Great and caring staff.
