I was devastated when my cat, Agatha passed away. Some people don't realize/acknowledge that pets become our best friends over the years. That is NOT the case with Rich and his wonderful staff at PACE. Throughout the entire tragic experience, we were treated with nothing but compassion, care, and also a sense of urgency. I say "urgency" because my Agatha passed away on the 4th of July and the fact that it was a holiday was NOT even an issue!!! Gordon came to pick Aggy up that Wednesday evening and she was returned early Friday morning in a pretty velvet sack inside a beautifully carved wooden box. Along with the box was a heart-shaped clay memento with Agatha's paw print and her name inscribed just above it. It was such a thoughtful touch! But that's not all; Also included in the gift-type bag was some literature regarding grief of pet loss and a unique bar code tracking number that accompanied her throughout the cremation process to ensure she was handled with the utmost respect and dignity. If that isn't going above and beyond, I don't know what IS! In sum, losing a pet is a terribly sad experience but Rich and his staff at PACE make the experience much more bearable. I hope that I will not have to use their services again for a long time but I would never look anywhere else when need be. Hats off to you, Rich and everyone at PACE in Detroit! Thank you.

My best friend Diesel suddenly passed away this morning from complications with a stomach virus. After a long weekend trying to care for him, and a long day yesterday trying to save him, we woke up to him leaving us this morning. I am devastated and heart broken. I was able to come up with some money for cremation and had called a local well known company. They told me to come in and they will work with me as far as a final payment for pickup. I drive him there and my debit card is not being read by their card reader. So, I had to take Diesel back home. When I was giving the number to PACE, I called right away, told Rich my story and he with so much compassion immediately came to pick up Diesel. He would have to stay in the backseat of my car, over night. I am so thankful there is a company with caring and compassionate people. I forever be greatful and will spread the word about how great they are.

Having a dog pass unexpectedly is very difficult when it comes to knowing what do. PACE makes a difficult process much easier. They respond very quickly and follow through on their promises and are very compassionate. I could not ask for more. Thanks PACE.

Rich was awesome. They handled my situation great and understood how we felt. I love the personal delivery. It feels like Rich was also apart of my dogs life. He cared so much. Thank you Pace, I don't know even a regular business like yours. Keep doing what you are doing customer service wise. And the cremation urn is supper cute. Oh yeah, all cases my be different but I got my pup back in 24 hours. Small breed pup so don't quote me. At least give them 48 hours. They are awesome as I said before. Thanks again. Cant wait till I can get the necklace to place my pup near my heart. Will be buying necklace offline. Unfortunately Pace doesn't have them, yet. And did I mention they were reasonable.
