Colin and Nancy's love of animals and compassion for those grieving their lost loved ones shines through every time they speak. I came to Thistledown with a heavy heart and not expecting much, but when I left it felt like a great weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I know that Coco is in good hands now. Colin and Nancy, you two are something special, and I'm so grateful to have met such wonderful people during such a difficult time. Thank you for doing what you do with so much love and kindness.

Really shocked by the outmost respect and service I received from Thistledown Memorial. Thank you, Colin and Nancy + co for everything you do. We had to put to sleep our rabbit, shockingly earlier than what we had anticipated and it was a difficult time for our whole family. Thanks to their services, our family feels almost complete again knowing our little buddy is warm and safe with us at home, once more. This was our first time really losing a pet, as well as going through cremation and I know I will be back again. They were very sensitive and welcoming through the whole entire process and never once during that time did I feel like my little boy was disrespected/dishonoured. I wanted this to be a personable experience rather than just sending him off to cremation through the vets. And it was, everything I could've asked for. I always said that he only deserved the best of the best, and I truly believe that he got just that. They even lit a little rabbit candle in his honour which really touched me probably more than I had expressed in real life. Their sweet dog greeted us as we dropped him off and picked him up, which made it ten times better as well-kudos to her and her little sassy self! Thank you guys so much for your service. It means so much to my family and likely does as well for others out there. They won't disappoint.

It’s been almost a year since we’ve lost our beloved BB and I’ve been meaning to write a review. Colin and Nancy thank you for helping me and my girlfriend get through a difficult situation. You two are truly the most amazing people I’ve ever met and we will never what you’ve done for us. Again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This is my first ever review. I don't normally write reviews for anything because I never wanted to... but honestly, Colin and Nancy helped me so much with regards to the funeral process and also emotionally. I've been so emotionally attached to my cat and her passing came as a shock. Like most pet owners, I started accusing myself of not being able to care for them better, realize earlier there were problems, or not showing them enough love. Tbh, I think we all can do better in the three things I mentioned but life and death is bound to happen - Colin and Nancy reminded me of that. They were the utmost caring people I've dealt with for funerals and so genuine. I never once felt like they were saying things in the interests of their own business- they always put our interests first. At the cremation, I chose the attended cremation where I was able to see my cat off. After, Colin said he had something he needed us to do and when we went back into the office, he pulled out some charms we had to put together. Each charm represented something different that helped with grieving. This was all free, it was really their way of saying "I understand how you feel and I'd like you to feel empowered to overcome this". Everything Colin and Nancy did for us was very considerate, attentive, and genuine. They helped me feel at piece because of all the good energy they helped me realize. I couldn't have chosen a better place.

Thank you for making the loss of our Marley a wee bit less stressful. Colin, your love of animals shines through, along with your kindness and empathy, making our decision so much easier to turn to you when Marley's final day arrived. I only wish I could give more stars!
