My family just completed what I called "Human Training" and we brought our dog along too!!! Knowing the basics is one thing, learning how to apply them and use them to get the dog you want is priceless information! I would recommend their approach to anyone interested in creating a great home for your Dog, simple skills to learn and apply will create a forever home for you and your pet.

I had reservations about bringing my rescue dog, who had shown some aggression towards other dogs. Mike welcomed my dog while also keeping the other dogs in the class safe. His teaching was very approachable, and I use the basics he taught every day. He says over and over that he is a pet trainer, and he wants us to have the dogs we want, and his classes were exactly what we needed to get that. Classes were structured but laid back. He is always willing to answer any and all specific questions. His basics class has made my life so much easier, and my dog so much happier. Thanks so much, Mike and Jinx!

Was recommended this place after a friend of mine brought her dog in and couldn't get over how much hair they were able to remove. It made her dog feel like a puppy again. So after we brought our two boys, not only was it reasonably prices, but their customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be back... still can't get over how soft they feel!

We have 2 Shepherds from the same litter. We have been taking them to New Approach since they were pups. They are now almost a year and Mike has been fantastic at offering free advice on how best to deal with any issues we might have with them while we are training them. We did our training through new approach as well. We had started at another doggies daycare, but what we like best about New Approach is the large outdoor play area when dogs can go outside at will any time they want. Our Shepherd girls love to be outside so this is very important to us. There is also a nice Indoor area with different areas for them. I would recommend new approach to anyone. They are also very reasonable in their pricing. They offered us a discount for having 2 dogs. As well, you can pay up front for 10 days and get one for free. This is a very professional place. Mike genuinely cares and takes his time at no cost to help with advice. We are so thankful to have this service so close to home for our Shepherd girls. Because of Mike's help, they are becoming very well trained little girls.
