I have two smaller dogs: Teddy and Aaron. They are incredibly shy rescues, and they do really well at The Den even though they aren’t the most engaging with the other dogs. I always feel welcome when we arrive and even on our second day, the staff remembered my dogs names! We’ve been going for about two months, they go once or twice a week. No complaints on my end (In fact, my dogs sleep like logs when they get back which is fantastic - extended down time for me!). I’m going to keep bringing them. Whats even better is that they also have a groomer on site which makes things a lot easier as a one stop shop. I highly recommend The Den!!

The Den Doggy Daycare had made all the difference in the world for our puppy Milo. I have never used a dog daycare or boarding with any of my pervious dogs and was hesitant to do so. I needed help looking after my dog while I was away on a work trip. The staff at The Den helped me out a lot and they provide very good information on how their daycare and boarding works. I can't believe how loving and positive the staff there are with the dogs...they absolutely seem to love all the animals and their jobs. Milo gets so excited to go to daycare and although he is happy to see me when I pick him up never wants to leave! After going to The Den a couple of times a week for the past few years he is completely socialized with other dogs and people. And as an added bonus he comes home at the end of the day tired and happy to just relax with me! I would highly recommend both their daycare and overnight boarding options

I used to take my puppy here and all appeared to be going well. It was always in the back of my mind they initially took him without proof of vaccinations and that they trusted me. He did have btw. As well, if they were at capacity they would take him and I saw other drop-offs as well in the parking lot. One day on pick-up I was told he had an altercation with a dog. Upon reviewing the video, my dog did react to an aggressive dog that came at him. The video showed the staff taking my puppy by the collar, all 4 legs off the ground and threw him. Needless to say I was very upset. Never went back. This has always bothered me and I do not leaving negative reviews. Be careful with this company. We have another Dog Care in Burlington - we pay more but the peace of mind knowing our loving furry family member is safe and protected is huge peace of mind.

I’m going to leave an honest and accurate review: the girls who I’ve spoken to at the Den have been great, very friendly and approachable. Management however has to be the absolute worst, they don’t have a good track record either. A dog was mauled to death and another one somehow managed to escape and never found. In the small dog room, staff is no where to be found, and they seem to be more occupied staring at their phones then attending to the dogs (or totally absent). There’s better options out there, steer clear.

If you're debating which daycare to take your dog, stop looking because The Den is the best place you're going to find. The facility itself is far better than other daycares, the friendly and caring employees creates an atmosphere where I know my dog will be safe and in good hands, and you can't beat the price. Here are the main reasons on why I take my dog to The Den: -OUTDOOR PLAY AREA: Unlike all other daycares where my dog was trapped in a tiny room all day, this facility has outdoor play areas, allowing Simba to get fresh air and run around outside. My dog also developed a bad habit of doing its business indoors at home from attending indoor daycares, which is no longer an issue since Simba gets to go outside at The Den whenever he needs to. -SPACIOUS: The facility is clean and large, with multiple areas / rooms for dogs to play in based on each dog's size and ability to play with others. Given the square foot of the rooms, they have a much smaller limit on the dogs they care for compared to other daycares, which means more space for the dogs to play and more attention spent on each dog. They also have a camera feed on the website where I can watch my dog whenever I am missing him! -BOARDING: I have always been hesitant to go on vacation and be away from my dog for such a long period of time. I boarded Simba for an entire week at The Den and had such a great experience! The girls went over the process beforehand and made me feel at ease - Simba got to sleep on his bed in his own kennel, they followed Simba's strict dietary requests, and whenever I got worried and emailed them to see if he was doing ok, they went above and beyond and sent me pictures! -PRICING: I've done the math and compared to other daycares, The Den is cheaper for both drop-ins and full days. Trust me - it's a good value and I've always preferred supporting local businesses. -HOURS: It's open every day of the week, and a lot earlier and later than other daycares, so I don't have to stress about picking up my dog on time if I'm working late. If you want a safe, comfortable facility for your dog to stay whether it's for a couple hours or a couple weeks, you can't go wrong with The Den. You won't regret it.
