We took our dog Muscles for grooming for the first time with Joanne. We had no idea what to expect as I have always taken my dog to the in-house grooming at my vet. My dog is extremely particular and is very shy when it comes to new places. Yes; he started shaking once he arrived at the shop, but Joanne took the time to make him feel welcomed and comfortable. She took about an hour and a half to groom my dog and he came out beautifully. When we went to pick him up he was calm and just sitting waiting patiently on her big fluffy pillow she had on the floor. Her establishment is undergoing some renovations so it was a little messy, but I give her credit for still being able to work under those conditions and still keep my dog calm and do a fabulous job! Joanne is a wonderful lady and takes great care in making sure you are satisfied. I have all confidence in referring her to others and have already let me vet know if anyone else is looking for a groomer (since our old one is on maternity leave for now) to send them to see Joanne.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I usually only leave positive feedbacks on company’s and don’t leave the negative ones. But I need to let people know what I seen and experienced with JD grooming. First I left messages for a week straight asking for a return call. Once I questioned the business on my last message I received a call back. I would call three times a day at times to never get an answer, I couldn’t go on the website that was provided from group on. And once’s I had my appoint I was looking forward to having my dog groomed. The moment I walked in my dog started to shake she didn’t want to stay. She has been groomed may times but I needed her cleaning for Christmas and thought I need to put my trust in this lady. I said I want her top coat long but her legs and face shirt and her bum cleaned up. I was told it will take 1.5 to get done. I got a call 45 mins later saying my dogs done. All that was done was her face. I said I wasn’t pleased with the feet she tried to take her to the back but my dog just wanted to get out of there. My appointment was first thing in the morning the place was a mess with dog hair all over very uncleanliness and she had already another dog on the table to even car for my dog. So I called her when I got home and left another message I did get a call back asking to bring her in on a day I was away. And not to call back she will call me. I waiting and no call back after that message. I called back and left another message to not get a return call again. Christmas approaching and not dog not cleaned up at all. She said she cut her nails as she still has one long nail from the last time I tried to do it myself but I got scared so I thought I would leave it for the professionals but now have to pay someone else to finish the job I originally asked for. Everything short on the dog but her top of her back. I would not recommend this company To anyone!!

Brought my dog in there they had 2 dogs to do before mine when I came to pick him up the spot where they we're grooming him was covered in dog hair from the last 2 dogs before mine they didn't even bother to clean the Booth before getting my dog groomed. Also when bringing him home he wasnt even brushed now imagine all the dog hair that was on him still wet not even completely dried and still had a dog scent back of my car was covered with wet dog hair!!!" They changed me way to much he was cleaner and less smelly before going into there shop I give them 1/10. I will not be bringing my dog to them anymore first and last I warn ya now before you get robbed like how I did.... poor customer service!!!!!!
