The wonderful people at Lab Rescue do a amazing job ! We adopted Sweet Maggie , we were looking for a lab a bit older but soon as my wife seen her we just knew she was the one . Maggie paired up with older girl wonderfully . She just turned 3 , her and Katie have bonded so well it has been so good for Kate she is very much a senior , getting close to 13 . She has been with us now since she was 6 months . We were contacted quickly and they always love the updates on Maggie , we love this rescue group and what they do for as many labbies as they can .

Our family recently had to say good by to our beloved Nikita. My wife and I were looking at various rescues looking for our next family member when came across Lab-rescue and since our Nikita is a Lab we hold a very special place in our hearts for labs and wanted to rescue another lab. My communication and responsiveness with Lab-rescue has been less then ideal, now I do understand that these organization are run by volunteers and they are doing a great service, but the lack of response from Lab-rescue is not acceptable and it has been 4+ weeks since filling out the application and still do not have any idea if my application has been reviewed. I hope lab-rescue can reads this post and reconsiders their procedures on how to communicate with potential rescuers. Signed disappointed rescuer Enrico

I have also put in an application and emailed. Never heard back from them. Really disappointing. I would appreciate if the website would post whether an application is pending so we are aware that the dog is being looked at by somebody else.

Very frustrating when a Rescue group who has been created solely to find these dogs wonderful homes, never gets back to you. Shame on them. Moving on!

There aren't enough words to express our deep appreciation to lab rescue for all they have done in the process of making the adoption of our new family member such a wonderful experience.. A very special thank you to all the fabulous volunteers, who assist you in every way possible to make this transition for both the adopters, and the dog so stress free.. I find it absolutely amazing how dedicated, caring and hard working all the volunteers are at lab rescue and we truly appreciate everything you have done for us....thank you Danielle, Karen, Laura and to all the others.
