Just stayed there for weekend. Great service, friendly owners, comfortable cottage (N2) with all appliances, pet-friendly (we have 2 doggies). Caught 3lb bass almost from the cottage deck. 1.5 hour drive from Toronto. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our visit very much. Would recommend if you have children and pets if your looking to fish / swim and enjoy the outdoors.

Our family booked cottage #5 at wildwood cottage resort August 15-22, 2018. Upon our arrival at the resort the first thing I noticed was that they didn’t have their own boat launch. I told them that I was bringing my boat, it would have been nice if they’d mentioned that they didn’t have a boat launch. After showing me where the public boat launch was Jamie the owner didn’t even tell me where the cottage was once I launched the boat in the water. If I wasn’t for the nice family in cottage #1 who offered to meet me at the boat launch with there boat so I can follow them back, I most likely would not have found where the cottage was. From this point it all started to go down hill. We got to the resort Wednesday evening, Thursday waiting all day for Jamie to show us where the boat launch was, had to go into town to buy some groceries by the time we got back it was to late to go out on the boat. Friday it rained all day, I messaged Rebecca Jamie’s wife that we had a leak from the kitchen window, no response from either of them, showing no concern about it. Now here’s the sick part.... Saturday early morning my 9 year daughter woke up wanting a glass of water. Her glass was upstairs, our bedrooms were downstairs. She picked up her glass and noticed that there was 2 brown things floating in her glass, she dumped the water out and refilled her glass. My daughter told my wife and she immediately run upstairs and noticed that there were more brown spots on the stove, dishes, all around the kitchen floor. The brown spots were mice feces. I sent Rebecca a message regarding it with no response. I told Jamie 3 times, on the third time he told me to check the mice trap and if it’s full for me to give it to him and he’ll empty it or give me another one... really I rented a cottage to do his dirty work. We had to throw out all our groceries we had bought for that week, our family vacation was completely ruined. We got to the resort Wednesday evening and left Saturday mid afternoon only because Jamie took his sweet time to address the issue, he had to finish smoking first, to him that was more important. They charged us $340.00 per night, we paid $1,152.60 and the cottage was full of mice. I asked for more of a refund and now they are blocking my messages and not answering my emails. I would strongly not recommend this resort for your vacation (s), as they have no clue to what they’re doing.

Rooms were neat and tidy when we arrived and the service was great. Boats were in perfect condition.
