I have personally known Colleen and her family for about 25 years, so when they opened their own shop I naturally followed them. Right now I take care of an elderly, diabetic Rottweiler/lab mix, and a mature but energetic hound mix with chronic skin allergies. They've been great in both supporting and suggesting alternative solutions for all animals (personally I only really have had dogs); Derrick knows everything there needs to be about nutrition, especially raw diets. They have specialty items and knowledge you really can't find anywhere else, and they know how to treat animals. I honestly don't trust anyone else with my pet's claws. I've done it before, but the ease with which Colleen handles a dog and trims its claws makes it a no-brainer for me. Prices are not high here and you still get extreme quality of service and product. I'll be a customer as long as either of us is in the vicinity and I would never hesitate to recommend Muddy Paws. They're as crazy about your pet as you are.

They were so good wit my puppy! Can’t thank them enough. She’s in good spirits and looks beautiful.

Muddy Paws has been our "go to" groomer for the past 11 years. Our dog Logan, is and never has shown any signs of stress when we arrive. He saunters in to the back grooming area and puts himself in to the crate while waiting to be bathed and groomed. When we pick him up after he is done, he's usually kicking back, led down watching everyone at work. These people show so much love to the animals they work on, I have no hesitation in giving them a 5 star rating.

Great service! A little out of the way for us as we reside in Durham region and a little more pricier than what I'd usually spend on dog grooming but it was well worth it. My pup came home with gleaming teeth. They gave us 2 dog food samples imported from Italy and sent us a photo college of pictures they took of my pup.

Had to edit my review, they have extremely odd walk in times that kind of only cater to their elderly customers. My dog doesn't have a lot of hair and just needs her nails clipped once a month and I can't even make an appointment for that to be done because since she's not getting a full services it's not worth their time because it's too much work to put the other dogs away to make time for mine even if I do make an appointment. They are really nice but seem to only care about their regulars instead of wanting a new clientele which will be their down fall since most of their clientele are MUCH older and won't be around much longer....
