The store is under new ownership and management! What a pleasant difference.

Mar 12, 2018
Throughout the years that I have visited this store I found that everything was clean and the pets were well taken care of.

4 hours after I came home from the store and after paying a big amount of money for 8 fishes and all the supplies, I did EVERY SINGLE THING like the lady told me to do and they all are already DEAD! Thanks for just making me spend my money...will never get back there!

This is a horrible pet store. They need to be reported for animal cruelty. First of all, they are selling dogs which is banned by a City of Toronto bylaw that was enacted back in August of 2011. Next, the dogs have no water and are not being cared for. We called the City and they said they couldn't do anything for the animals. This was in April 2013. It's now May and someone else visited the store and found birds in the backroom that were featherless and one was injured because the others were pecking it. So sad. We have emailed other rescue organizations to try to help with the situation. If anyone reading this can help, please do. Update May 28, 2013: Toronto Animal Services has confiscated the cage of doves and will rehabilitate the birds and find rescue. Sadly, since the puppies were said to have been given to the owner for free and they are not ill, TAS is not able to do anything for them.

Upon reading the other review - hope the animals are well cared for here??
