It's a no kill shelter which is great. Animals are well taken care of. Adoption was easy. We came during a special adoption promotion, costing us only $20.00 or a big bag of pet food. Very nice and friendly staff.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here, i was hoping to give a dog a home but their process when you already have a dog in the home is flawed. Several others have commented on the same thing on other social media sites. I feel like their meet and greets should be structured a little differently to present a better opportunity for the dogs to get to know each other than a room that looks barren with just a couch and a desk, and one person to decide the fate. I wish I asked more questions at the time, but it was decided so quickly that I think I was in shock. Im sad I couldn't be the one to give this dog a home, it would have been a great one (if i do say so myself) but I'm sure he was adopted and i say lucky people to the person who got him!

I cannot say enough how nice the staff is here. My cat got hit by a car, and I was a sobbing mess, but everyone was so friendly and kind. He was put down with dignity, and they even made me a little card with his paw print on it, to remember him. I was very touched. What wonderful people.

The SPCA is a great organization. They are helping with the cat colony I have, by providing food and fixing all new kittens and placing them up for adoption.

Watch out they will give you sick animals! My husband and I came in to look at cats and fell in love with one. We talked to the vet tech that told us he had just had an infection but it cleared up and he was healthy now. So they packaged him up and we were ready to go when the vet tech came back out to tell us he had just finished his antibiotics and was still sick. We still took him home because they said he would be fine and get better. We bring him home and it turns out he has tapeworms, he is still severely congested and he is also deaf none of which was told to us when we adopted him. We love him but it would have been nice to know what we were getting into when we adopted him. I thought adopting a cat through the SPCA was a safer option then going through craigslist but I guess not. Watch out they will give you sick animals UPDATE: If you post a bad review about them they will try to take your animals from you. Be careful
