First time client and had a really great experience. Fantastic staff and owner was very nice and helpful. The grooming was amazing and never seen my dog look this good. Thank you again and will be returning and recommending.

We love going to TLC for all our dog grooming needs. The only bad experience we had at that salon was when someone named Karen Jones worked there. She had a very rude and passive aggressive demeanor. She didn't seem like she enjoyed her work. Also, she claimed to be a Master Groomer but I later found out she has no credentials but instead was "self taught". My dog's groom was crooked and not well done at all. I'm happy she is no longer employed at TLC. I'd never leave my dog in her care again, she's really not a nice lady.

This is going to be a little long.... Since we've been there, the owner changed the website to have the correct information. That's why they get an extra star. We went there since it used to say on the website "starting at 35$" (with no mentioning of anything else). We went there even though we live pretty far (Kanata) and it seemed like a great deal. I've called beforehand (I have the phone call recorded) and said "I would like the 35$ package". No one mentioned anything about breed or asked me any questions. When we arrived, we said what we wanted done, and again, no one mentioned any price change. It took them 2 hours over what they said it would take (so 5.5 hours total for 2 dogs!). When we came to pick them up, they said "OK, that will be 160$". I told them the website says 35$. They said we have a special breed and "show quality dogs". I mentioned the consumer act law, which states that if a price change was not given BEFORE the work is done, that end price should not exceed 10% over the one stated in the website. They pulled up a sheet of paper from below the cash register and said "here, you see, your breed is more expensive". I'm sorry, was I supposed to go through your drawers to check if there's a sheet of paper? "If you came out and said it's 2000$, am I supposed to just shut up and pay it?". They said "yes". Good thing I know the law and didn't budge. In the end, we agreed to pay 115$ (after tax). The job itself wasn't professional. Lots of missed spots and inconstant cuts. Our dogs also cried a lot there, which didn't happen at the last place we took them to and were very agitated when we picked them up. Our last place did a much better job. If you do end up going there, PLEASE ask the price for your specific needs (because they will NOT mention it). I am glad they have changed the website...I just wish the will also publish their "breed price list" as well. Transparency is the key to an honest business.

First time customer here who is definitely very happy with our dogs’ grooming! Yu Shan was such a pleasure to have as our groomer. She had a bernedoodle and a cocker spaniel to groom today, and she did a flawless job. We have tried SO many groomers, only to have them cut corners, not do ears, not do nails, only want to shave etc, but now, we have finally found our go to place and Groomer! The owner as well made sure our experience right from our inquiry to the end was a positive one. You have gained a repeat client! Thank you Ash and Yu Shan for all that you do!
