Great selection. Better than Petco. Was happy that they had all the necessary goods for a little pup. Lady in the store was super friendly and informative. Our pup took to her right away.

I use the " pet hotel " only. It would be a good idea to install cameras so you can see how your pet is doing oppose to always calling and checking on them. The staff is really nice and friendly. My pet always gets a good progress report upon returning to pick him up. My pet never acts as if he doesn't want to be there when taking him. They have great rates and so easy things with the pets there. I would recommend this pet hotel if leaving out-of-town for your pet (the one in Utica) check out their website

PetCo and PetSmart are both very popular places to buy animals and supplies, but it should be shopped at at caution. They get their animals from a mill-like breeder, which does not take good care of them at all, and often neglects them. They really care about the money and that’s it. Once the animals are brought to the shop, they are taken only slightly better care than before. Only the lucky ones get sold into a responsible home. So you may think that you’re doing a good favor by rescuing the animal from the bad place, and you are in a way, but you are also supporting the cause of animal abuse. The more money that goes into buying the animals, the more money goes into helping the mills and bad pet trade. So, don’t buy animals from chain pet stores unless you know for a fact that the animals are healthy and come from a responsible location. These stores on the other hand, are very good for getting supplies and services such as food, toys, and dog training. I would stay away from their advertised cages, such as CritterTrails and tiny Betta containers, which are too small and harmful for your pets. Other than the pets and bad supplies, these stores are a good bet!

Excellent staff! Service is becoming personalized. The woman who checked me out remembered that I care for six cats. Thank you!

I understand it's a pet store. But I doesn't need to smell like a barnyard. Couldn't stay in the store very long due to the horrid smell. And it always smells this way. I thought it may have been a one time thing but no. Also their prices are not competitive
