I am having a hard time believing all these 5 star reviews (let alone more than 3 stars) after my experience today. The appointment was originally scheduled for 3 o'clock, I guess she called my parents to reschedule (the day of mind you) for an hour earlier. I brought their dog in, and was given an estimate of an hour to an hour and a half. I told her I had some errands to run in London, so may be a bit late, she did not seem to like this. I get a call an hour and a half later and tell her I am still in London and will head there soon, "Well you better get here soon!" was her response... I get there 45 minutes after her call, and she is far from pleasant, I explained traffic was bad. "Well I guess you should not have gone to London then eh?... Well the base cost is $60 and I am going to charge you $20 for an hour of babysitting as well." Needless to say, I did not pay her for "babysitting" a blind/deaf/cancer ridden dog for 45 minutes, that probably just laid in the corner minding her own business. I later found out the base cost for that dog is only $50 (we are talking a small dog here). So she scammed me out of $10 already, and tried to get another $20 ontop of that. INSANE! To top it all off... she only CUT the dogs hair, she did not bathe her (she stank so bad coming out of there!), loose hair was flying off her in the car ride home. I do not and would NEVER recommend anyone go here, unless they want to deal with a crotchety old woman. Worst experience ever with a groomer!

This review is in regards to the earlier review by Nikki. I am the owner of the dog in the review. I am happy with the services Sue provides for all three of my dogs. Mitsie was long overdue for her grooming appointment. I was aware of the extra fee because of this. In fact, It wasnt an overpayment because Sue gives me a discounted rate for my three elderly fur babies. I know Sue bathed her. She has warts that produce an odor. Appointment times are set for a reason. Just like any other appointment, you are expected to be on time. Please disregard that post by Nikki. I am completely satisfied with the grooming services. The dogs look and smell fantastic when I come to pick them up. I would recommend Sue to any other future clients. Keep up the good work Sue!!!

Sue is truly the best groomer I’ve met. I’ve brought my dogs to other groomers and they were not good experiences. Sue explains what she does and will teach owners how to do basic grooming at home. If you ask a question that she doesn’t know the answer to (which doesn’t happen often) she does research and gets back to you. She cares for your pet as though they were her own. I highly recommend her. You won’t be disappointed!

I am a current customer of Diamond in the Ruff and would like to address Nikki.....first of all if she was able to get you in early that is a bonus as she is a very busy lady, not only her business but she has a personal life. If early was not an option for you then maybe you should have said it wouldn't work and came at your originally scheduled time. 45 minutes late after getting a call from the pre-discussed time frame is a bit absurd, if you left a child in daycare for longer then intended you would be charged also for this....as far as what the dog was doing while being "babysat" is irrelevant as she may have had other clients after your appt. I have never known Sue to only cut/trim/shave a dog without previously bathing and drying. I take my 112 lb cane corso/bulldog to her and have never had any problem, she is willing to work with her clients as life does happen and things do come up. I can't help but wonder if your one of those ppl that only comment negatively, if your experience had of been different would you have left a good review?
