First and foremost, the service and professionalism of the individuals working at this establishment are sub par. Time is not respected and extremely unorganized. I called to set an appointment, which was the only part of my experience that was satisfactory. I dropped off my dog at the store, which was very hard to find and lack of parking. I am not one to judge a book by its cover so let's not get into the appearance of a store. Now, as for the inside of the store, the employees seemed unorganized as they did not even know which dog was mine after I gave them my name, my dogs name, my phone number and the type of dog. The interior did not appear clean as there was dirt and hair everywhere, like a $10 hair cut salon. Now, let's put that all aside and talk about the service itself. You get what you pay for but no dog should come home with a different personality for a few days. From being energetic, happy and sometimes annoying to quiet, not much movement is what happened to my dog. My wife even asked if they mixed up our dog and gave us someone else's baby. That's the worse thing that can happen when taking a dog to a new place or any place for that matter to be groomed. Yes the cut was normal, nothing spectacular, but I could only imagine how he was treated while there. I should also add that this is not the first time my dog has been to a groomer or a new groomer for that matter. In summary, I would not recommend this place and even would be strong enough to say that this place needs to be secretly taped and displayed online. 1/10 - would not recommend.

I'm suprised at all the negative reviews. I've been taking my multi-poo here for sometime and she always comes out looking and smelling fantastic. More importantly she's never stressed when I leave her there, unlike other groomers we've attended which she became terrifyed of. The prices are fair and the service feels very warm and friendly. She's usually done in 2-3 hours which is not bad at all. And I appreciate that you can see into the area the grooming is done. I've worked in grooming salons and I can't help but wonder if some of the dog owners that gave negative reviews had severally matted or wiggley/aggressive pups which would cause redness and cuts and unfinished jobs. I've never experienced anything but great work there. Would definitely recommend!

Very good. Was worried with the reviews, but i've been to a few places and i can tell you what, this place is amazing. Taken my Shih tzu there three times and all i can say is WoW, he's happy & i'm happy. Very well groomed and cleaned up. Everyone in the family think he looks amazing when he comes home. Now only i could find somewhere like that for myself :)

I had a really good experience at Yuppy Puppy. The location was clean and tidy, which made me feel more comfortable since some private groomers aren't very clean. I had a basic groom and the anal glands expressed, and paid about $45, which is about on par with other places I've been to. It was the middle of winter, and he didn't cut my dog too short while still keeping the pomeranian 'look'. All in all, I'm very happy with the groom and will come back the next time for a spring groom. Only downside is that I drove past the store a few times before I found it, since it's a basement store and there wasn't very clear signage pointing to it.

Took my little cocka-poo here after pet smart was unavailable. The store was quite sketchy which should have led me to assume that the cut wouldn't be amazing, but it was absolutely terrible. My dog was cut/bleeding in her right paw, above her eye and behind her ear. The cut was uneven and patchy, some spots where completely shaved and my dog was very uncomfortable for the rest of the day. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE
