Dropped by in here last weekend and was not greeted what so ever. I believe there were two or three people working there. I came in to seeing one of the assistant seating on the counter having a conversation with another girl who was seating down and did not get up once to ask whether I needed any assistance. Too bad since my pup was starting to experience dislike with its food. Finally after fifteen minutes of wandering around trying to figure out which food would be best for my pup , a girl who was than at the front is now starting to walk around the store. Instead of asking me if I needed any assistance , she pulls out her phone and completely disregards me and goes back to the front! Completely unacceptable. I’ve been to many pet valu’s but this location clearly needs to get their customer service in check because the staff at this location seem to be more concerned to check their phones and seat on the front counter table, than to actually help customers. And to top it all off , I left with no goodbye , nothing what so ever ! The only good thing I can say about this location is at least they have decent parking space.

Highly disappointed with the customer service at this location. Brought in a group of very well behaved preschool children, who had been looking so forward to their trip to the local pet store. After browsing the store for a few minutes, we were met by a staff member (brownish curly hair, glasses), who asked if we were purchasing anything. We stated we were only browsing and would only be 5 more minutes. She informed us that, "we could leave sooner then that." She continued to stare and follow us out of the store as we lined up against the building to begin our walk back to school. Had our group been rowdy, running around the store, and causing a raucous, I could see some intention behind her request, however our group were none of these things. Our visit lasted no more then 10 minutes, the children were under careful supervision, and there were no other customers in the store. As previously stated, highly disappointed with this experience, especially because these children and their families are part of the community.

The best pet store in Toronto. Wonderfully friendly staff and great products for your doggos.

Been here many times and the service is abysmal. Almost a bother if you ask a question. I guess it's because the 3 staff members gabbing with each other takes precedence over assisting customers. I like Pet Valu and it's location can't deal with the crappy service-not returning-ever.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Well-stocked store with generally reasonable prices.
