Paws & Affection is definitely one of the best grooming salons in the city! The ladies who work here are so kind and caring and they honestly care about the pups they are working on. I have a 17 year old pup who is beyond challenging to groom. For the past year or two she has needed to be sedated at a vet in order to be groomed, as no groomer could do it without my pup absolutely freaking out. Due to her age I didn’t want to have to sedate her again and we tried Paws and Affection. They were able to do a phenomenal job on her!! Her face is where she has a hard time with due to her lack of sight, and the ladies were able to completely groom her face! I will only visit this salon from now on, and not having to sedate my pup to groom her is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone needing a grooming salon !

I recently moved into the area and really needed my dogs nails trimmed, they were so long and I’m petrified to do it myself. I just so happen to pass by Paws and Affection while running with my dog, I’ve really been meaning to try a Grooming Salon. Unfortunately, they were booked up all day (Saturday) but Ada told me she’d schedule me in some time during the week but will try to call if someone cancels. I was completely fine with it and since it was my first time she gave me a card for $10 off. Luckily someone cancelled and I was able to get him bathed, trimed and nails cut in one shot. I was impressed he got along with all of the dogs there, and happy they didnt crate him - my dog rarely interacts with other dogs and it sort of made me nervous to bring him somewhere but, again, Impressed ! I’m also really happy they offer boarding, it’s something I’ll consider later on in the year. Will definitely go back to Paws and Affection

When initially scheduling the appointment I was told $20 plus tax, for my puppies first visit. I thought that was a very fair price. After the appointment there was an extra charge that was not brought to my attention. The price I was told was wrong. I didn’t want anything extra but got charged. I showed up with my puppy and specifically mentioned numerous times NOT to cut any hair off the top of my puppies head, that request was ignored!!!! The groomer shaved too much hair between the eyes and is recommended to not cut so short due to veterinarians request. A little hair is good for the eye discharge. May cause Eye infection if no hair. The groomer also stipulated that if my puppy was not neutered, I could not return. Disappointed customer. I will not be returning.

Ericka and Ada are the best! My Peekoo loves his grooming, every single visit!

We met the friendliest groomer a pet owner could ever ask for named Erica. We called in advance to book an appointment and we appreciate the questions she asked to learn more about our dog, Oscar. It is an open concept grooming facility where dogs can interact with each other so that was an absolute plus for us since we've never placed Oscar in a crate before. We were also allowed to stay and watch Oscar being groomed so for those pet owners that wish to stay can do so. In terms of price, it was a little more expensive than other grooming facilities but we didn't mind at all for the overall service and comfort of our dog was well worth it.
