I recently had a poor experience here. I had called in to book a grooming appointment for 8 AM Drop off and 11:30 AM pickup last Thursday. Everything was fine and they confirmed the appointment, even called me the night before to confirm. I showed up at 8 AM, and stood outside waiting until 8:30 AM before deciding I had enough. I tried calling their number a few times, but no answer. After I left, I got a call around 8:35 AM from them saying they were sorry but got stuck in traffic hence they were late. That is understandable - however it would of been nice to receive this call closer to 8:00 AM or even 8:05-8:15. Clearly they had my phone number as they had called to confirm the appointment the night before. I found the lack of communication that they were late to be unprofessional, and the whole ordeal caused me to be late to my work, not to mention I had to scramble to find another groomer that could fit me in last minute. This bad experience could of all been avoided had they simply given me a courtesy call to say they were late. I have received no follow up since, or any apology from their Management. I have taken my pet 2-3 times previously, spending over $100 each time on the groom, and I usually end up buying misc toys/apparel when I am there so it is unfortunate by business did not seem valued.

not pleased with my dogs cut. took my toy poodle for a full groom and specifically asked for the teddy bear look, which was completely disregarded. the groomer did the standard look she does with all poodles on their instagram. i specifically asked for his face to be cleaned out and he came home with a chunk missing in between his eyes. the job was completely hack and he has patches everywhere. $100 later my pup is patchy and didnt even get a cute bandana souvenir.

This is the best store in Toronto. The owners and staff treat their customers like family. They love people and dogs and want the best for us. They have been caring for us and our puppy since we brought her home, helping us find the right food, the right collar, leash, dog tag, shoes and coats, and recommending the best toys. They also do super fast and easy drop-in nail trims. Sometimes we drop in just to say hi - like we're visiting friends. Timmie represents the best of local business. They are community. Shop at Timmie!

I’ve been taking both my dogs here for years (treats and nail trims). Always friendly and great service.
