I can't recommend this place with a clear conscious. I was charged an extra $100:00 for my family to have company over. It was about 30 people, but they rented 3 cottages. I was promised a tent for the barbecue, there was a tent but not by any of the cottages (trailers) my family were renting for the week. I was also told we'd have to take our garbage when we left. You can't cook seafood in the cottages, who comes to P.E.I and not want seafood?!? If the owner had problems before then I suggest she charge a deposit. The road to get there is terrible , potholes more like the abyss! I and many others were scared to drive down with rental cars. You pay for friendly staff, accommodation that are supposed to be half descent, and roads you can drive on safely so you don't damage your rental cars. I don't believe we got any of these. The owner went banging through the garage while my family were still there, it was awkward and uncomfortable! Elayne Lord wanted $150:00 for having our family picnic, I talked her down to $100:00 after she couldn't give me a good explanation as to why a charge at all when 3 cottages are being rented at a cost of roughly $1200:00 for the week. All she came up with is the extra cars, garage and bathroom use. Is that not why an owner charges $1200.00? I gave it a 2 star only for the scenery, not the cottages (old trailer's) or service. Very disappointed, would not recommend this place ever again!

I cannot honestly understand how there can be any negative reviews towards this place. The cottages are located right on the ocean with massive front windows to take in the view. The cottages are clean, welcoming and provide you with everything you need. As for the satellite, if you need to watch TV while at a beautiful location, it works with plenty of channels to choose from. We never experienced problems with the wifi. The beds we found to be the opposite of hard. But that may be the cottage we were in (cottage#4). They were very comfortable! We were greeted upon arrival with a full run down on the property and cottages. The ocean front is MASSIVE once the tide goes out with miles of running and play for kids. If you want the Hilton hotel go else where. If you want a fabulous location for a family vacation look no further!!!

The cottages were great and so were the people running it. I great place for a getaway. Will be returning there and hopefully soon

Tried to walk on the beach here with our kids...we were told we were not allowed as we did not rent a cottage here...the owner implied we could be theives by stating "we dont lock our doors around here". That REALLY hurt our feelings. There were no private property signs or no trespassing signs. There were other ways this owner could have handled this situation. Maybe she could have suggested where we could publicly. I just felt she was RUDE and UNWELCOMING for potential guests in the future.
