My go to place, staff is really helpful and know their stuff, compared to those big chain stores. Staff is always very nice I always found what I'm looking for. Items are less expensive then chain stores, would defenitly recommand. They are 2 friendly cats in the store which makes it feel very homy.

this used to be my go to for supplies , got to know a few employers by their first name. I used to go their and buy my dog supplies as well as fish supplies. A few months back tho I had bought 12 Rummynose Tetra , brought them home acclimated them and they were fine , went back 3-4 days later , decide on buying another 12 , 2-3 days later all but 2-3 had died. I tried contacting the store and they wouldn't do anything for me , just kept telling me our fish are perfect here and that it was probably my fault. Ive been fish keeping my whole life , so believe me I know how to care for fish and how to acclimate and quarantine. I lost all my money, I decided to buy 12 Rummynose from another local fish store and GUESS WHAT?...Their still alive to this very day and thriving. hmmmm wonder what happened?... Ever since this incident, I refuse to step foot again, at the end of the day , their lost , not mine. Many Pet stores out their.

Wasn't too impressed with the service, felt like the employee was reciting a script and not listening to a word.

Not the same since it changed to Animal Experts. We used to come here for snake food and they didn't seem very interested in helping us. Now we have to find somewhere else for that. It's now just your average pet store, like any other. As my husband stated when we left, "This isn't our pet store anymore" :(

First day I went there I thought my experience was great the owner and staff were amazing. We bought a 20 gallon aquarium for a great price but I found it odd that it was the shelf model that the owner gave us and when I asked why there was no box he said it's my last one and at this price are u really gonna complain for a box... so I thought it was ok. We bought 3 goldfish because the owner said that's what we needed to start the ecosystem for the aquarium for the first 30 days so that the goldfish would create the bacteria and organisms for our new fish to be able to live in the aquarium... so after 30days we could bring our goldfish back and buy our new fish of our choice. NOW!!! We get home and install the aquarium and about 3 days later I noticed the tiniest trickle of water on my mantle table where we put the aquarium and found that odd but wiped it off thinking it was condensation from the temperature change. I left for 4 days on business and my wife was feeding the fish while I was away and when I got back I noticed more water trickling down to the point where my égyptien mantle table is damaged and my floor had a hand sized puddle on it... I couldn't figure out what is wrong and I'm very upset. I can't move the aquarium it weighs so much with 20 gallons of water in it... and I don't know what to do because if I remove the fish and empty it then the fish will surely die and that will sadden me very much. I called the pet store and there was never an answer I went to the pet store and found them to be closed and it says something about some electrical damage and that they are closed down for a while... that sucks!!! So now I have a trickling leaking aquarium with 3 goldfish and a mantle table that is damaged and if I don't wipe everyday my plancher flottant will be damaged also... this is so unfair it's upsetting. My heart goes out to the animalerie for what they are going through with the electrical issues and what not but I feel my situation should and must be rectified! Good day everyone🙏 This is a follow up to my situation. First of all congratulations on the reopening of the store. Firstly I would like to say that regardless of what happened I stayed a loyal customer to the establishment because the service is incredible especially Gabriel he is the greatest asset to this store in my opinion but everyone is great. As for my leaking aquarium the situation has been rectified and I couldn't be happier they took my old one back and gave me a brand new one in the box... I couldn't ask for more. Best animalerie in longueil and they have a permanent customer in me and I recommend this place to everyone.
