Royal pet resort has been grooming my dog for a couple of years now. Absolutely no complaints. The staff is always very friendly. We now take two dogs for grooming and nate does an amazing job and always takes the best care of our pups. Great place for your pets and wonderful staff absolutely 5 stars.

We left our dog for 12 days during a recent vacation. We reserved a standard kennel with stay-n-play so our pup would not get bored. Where do I start... 1) We got a call midway thru the trip saying our dog was "roughhousing" with another dog during play time and had scratched his ear. After we picked him up it was apparent our dog had been bitten on one ear pretty badly, had a scab on his head and a scratch on the other ear. Our dog is about as friendly as they come so makes me wonder what kind of interaction they allow and what supervision is around during group playtimes. 2) When we picked up the dog his eyes were red and discharging yellow goop. The manager said it was probably some "dust in his eyes". Not quite - turned out to be conjunctivitis (pink eye). He was completely healthy before he went in. 3) I was overcharged. When I made the reservation I was given a price, the same price is on the web site (still is) and also shown on a price list at the front desk. When I asked why I was paying more - "oh, the price was just raised" So...rest assured I will not be going back here. The place was not very clean (his bedding smelled awful). My healthy dog came back injured and diseased. And I was overcharged, not to mention the additional vet bill when I came home to get his eyes cleared up and antibiotics for his injured ear. Think twice before you leave your pet here and get the price in writing.

Ok for the most part but was not informed of the charges when we checked our baby in , I felt uneasy leaving her for the first time to begin with .... We asked for the luxury suit for her to have access to her own play yard they said sure but did not offer to show me the room I was paying for , then I suggested she be groomed , again no price mentioned .... Ok fine ... So when I pick her up the next day she is so drowsy (where I come from you ask permission before giving any medicine) she slept the rest of the day and was not excited to see me at all ok.. now mind you I've never been apart from her and she's only 8 months old , so I check her paws since we paid $136.00 for her overnight visit that was only $50 so $80 apparently for the grooming .... Her nails where trimmed way too short she wouldn't let me touch her paw for a week .... Needless to say I will never take her back to this place ...

My cat used to be healthy and happy before! I asked to give her a bath and was charged $45 for grooming. When she got home there were poop and bright blood stain on her fur. I also found that her anus has been infected and was bloody! She also keeps scratching her ears! This place is dirty and unprofessional! How could they not give me a call when my cat got sick during her stays there at royal pet resort! Will NOT ever board my babies here! Avoid this place or you might really regret!
