I was given a completely free bag of dog food for my pups since one of the brands they usually carry was in transition. She (I’m assuming the owner) gave me a recommendation on a new, local, and cheaper brand. She also talked about the consistency of my dogs bowel movements for 5 minutes to help me find the right food for them. Always a positive experience every time I visit, and my pups are always pleased with the result, it’s a lovely little dog shop!

I so wanted to like this place. I stopped going to cowtown to support this small little store. But this is my 6th time going in now that they dont have the product I need. 3 times, and 3 separate occassions, have I asked them to write down the food I need to order extra of it. It's like they dont order any extra stock. Never enough to sit in the back for when the shelf runs out. I left cowtown to go shop here, to only have to go back to cowtown because they never have any stock. And i dont know why none of the staff know how to use their computer systems, but they always put in the wrong food on my card. Telling me I bought chicken the last time when I actually bought salmon. Know how I know?? The kibble is a different color! So now my cats bounce back and forth between flavors which they're not fond of. Not to mention the fact that the advice they give is questionable and the young girls working there know nothing about the product. It's really sad when I, the customer, have to educate them. So my advice to the owner would be: 1. Learn to order extra stock. Believe it or not, it's fine to let stock sit in the back until you make another order. 2. Train your staff in product knowledge.

Great little store. They have different varieties of Canadian natural dog food that I haven't seen other places. They have both decent priced items as well at top notch more expensive products. Friendly staff as well.

The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and they offer very good food selection especially with their natural products. I highly recommend checking it out!
