I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. I am never stepping a foot in this place again. I heard great things about the pet food, the good prices and helpful people. Well the staff is what made my experience here awful. My husband and I went there to pick up cat food, we walked around and saw some great things. But the staff just kept following us around like we were going to steal something. I never faced this kind of discrimination before (that killed me inside). We took the cat food up to the counter and the people that were following us around the store stood at the counter with us, while I was paying for the food. Not once did any employees asked us if we needed assistance, just hid around corners of aisles. What an embarrassing, harassing experience.

When we first got our puppy we had no idea what we needed for him or how to choose what's best for him. The staff member that helped us was really knowledgable about their products and helped us pick out the right product for his breed. And there guarentee to return the product and get a different one if he didn't like the flavour we picked out really set us at ease. Cowtown was recommended to us by a friend who buys their pet food there and it was the best decision for our pup!

I love that they carry high-quality Canadian! Pet food here (& the cost is reasonable) + many of the foods they carry have a buy X-amount & get 1 free :)

Staff and service is always amazing. Excellent selection of pet products. Be sure to ask about their dry pet food program!
