These people are great to deal with and clearly love working with animals. It's a pleasure to come here. Edit: a shame they closed down, but some of the staff can be found elsewhere and are still just as awesome.

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with this store. I don't like pet shops. I'm programmed to not like them. Kittens in cages, puppies with big sad eyes... no way, man. I avoid them like cancer. I'm apt to adopt the entire store and be in debt for the rest of my life. We went down to PA from Creighton because my kid talked me into getting a snake. (There's a story behind that, but it boils down to me being a sucker.) I'd called ahead and gotten someone experienced that filled me in on exactly what they carried and what they had in stock, and what I could expect to see after making the four hour drive. After getting there it turned out she'd been precisely correct. I can't stress enough how very awesome that was. Pam helped us. Pam was awesome. Pam knew everything about reptiles, and while I thought I'd familiarized myself with the basics, I was quickly proven ignorant. Pam was awesome. Pay Pam more. Take what Pam makes and make it much more. In closing, I spent a ton of money getting this snake, yet came away with exactly what I wanted and couldn't be more pleased about the purchase. Thanks Pam, thanks Petland, and thanks for making corn snakes and the various associated requirements available to those of us in the frozen north.

Staff is always friendly and eager to help. My kids love playing with the animals. The cleanliness kinda grosses me out a bit, but I think that do their best considering it's a pet store.

I went in looking for a product advertised on Petland's website, did not state 'Online only' or any such thing, did two laps of the store then asked an employee at the till. I showed her the product on their website on my phone, asked her if they carried it, only to receive a one word answer from her "Nope" . I promptly walked out, came home and ordered from Amazon. Arrived in two days with no attitude!
