Awesome organization! Cats/kittens are fostered with volunteers and are up for adoption. Screening process before you can adopt. Website shows pictures of adoptable cats/kittens. Benefit of adopting from here as opposed to SPCA is your cat will be socialized and you may have some idea of its personality, plus how it gets along with other cats, dogs, and children.

We had such a WONDERFUL experience adopting Phineas (Finn now) from SCAT. They answered all of our questions and took such great care of him. He was is good condition and well loved by the staff when we adopted him at age 2.5yrs. He came chipper, tatooed, and fully vaccinated. The staff were kind enough to give me the contact information to receive all of his files from prior vets offices so we could get him insured with pet insurance. He has been an amazing addition to the family and we are so grateful to SCAT!

Great staff and volunteers who really care about their cats. My most recent adopted cat would have been put down due to his health complications if scat didn't pay for his vet bills. They gave him a second chance at life, and is the sweetest boy that melts the heart of everyone who meets him. Adoption is the way to go.
