This is the second time I have taken my dog to this groomer. The first time I took her here she was cut by the razor, but she was a puppy and I did not know any better. First let me say that no other groomer has ever injured in 5 years. She is groomed regularly by various groomers in town and we have never had an issue. I understand her winter coat is difficult to groom as it becomes long and dreaded, which is where a skilled groomer shows, as her coat can be trimmed down without injuries. Not at Neighbourhood Pup. I took her here as everyone else had a wait list. Big mistake! When I picked her up the groomer did mention she got cut a few times, I thought “ok that happens from time to time”. It was not until I left that I realized how injured she was. She has over 30 cuts on her body from nicks on the top of her feet from the razor to oozing dime size cuts. She was even cut places she did not have hair, like her groin. I have nothing good to say about this groomer. The quality of the cut is terrible (uneven and patchy lengths), her ears were not touched and she had a dried up old piece of feces still stick to her butt???Terrible and shameful.
