BE ADVISED!!!!! Basement Technologies (BT) is a FABULOUS individually owned company situated in Hamilton ONTARIO. It was highly recommended to me by a trusted contractor. THERE IS A "BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES" company in New Brunswick. THIS NEW BRUNSWICK company has absolutely nothing to do with "BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES" in Hamilton. Unfortunately the New Brunswick company is the source of the poor reviews!!!! They apparently are NOT fabulous like the BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES located in Hamilton, Ontario. This is most unfortunate for the Hamilton BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES. I was shocked to see the Hamilton BASEMENT TECHNOLOGIES rating on their website!! BUT because I trusted my contractor I went with Basement Technologies (Hamilton ON) to waterproof a 40' wall in our basement, install a back-flow valve and a sump pump in June 2018. They were so good both in workmanship and overall professionalism. I was thoroughly impressed from beginning to end. Professional. Courteous. Cleaned up work site. Easy to talk to and explained everything to us. Google CANNOT remove the New Brunswick poor reviews from the Hamilton Basement Technologies. It is my hope that you have read my review and go with the Hamilton company. I highly recommend them and am more than happy to provide a reference. Brenda M

I had a prearranged appointment this evening for a foundation repair and waterproof quote . Ed called to ask if we could meet earlier . On arriving home Ed was waiting . I shook his hand and remarked it was good that we had some daylight in which to look at the job outside . He asked if I had measured the inside area of the basement . The repairs are to be outside . I said no . He looked at the front steps and stated " Well the steps will have to be removed ". (See attached photo ) . I pointed out that the steps are part of the slab that makes up the front porch slab , Ed asked if we could go inside because he did not want to stand around outside and freeze . I said "Or you could just leave ." and he replied "OK " turned and left . Would this be a company you would want to do business with ?
