It wasn’t too long ago that I was searching the web for reviews on Waffle Industries. After 25 years of a bone-dry basement we spent the Family Day Weekend of 2019 cleaning up after being flooded with 7 inches of water. No furnace, industrial heater, not really knowing what to do. I call Doug on a Sunday not expecting to hear from him. Not only does he call me back that day but comes out the next day and takes a look at our mess. Two weeks later Doug and his crew are in our basement installing an internal weeping tile system that runs into a sump hole after which the water is pumped outside through a heated line. They started the work on a Thursday exactly as promised. We came up on Saturday to see how it was going and we were amazed at how clean the jobsite was. Doug said he would be using a special saw with a vacuum that would minimize the dust. Not only wasn’t there much dust but every tool had a place. The site was cleaned up beautifully. My future son-in-law is in the construction industry and he told me that the way you can tell about the workmanship of a trade is to see how they leave their work space. He said that people who take pride in the work that they do leave their job site organized and clean. He was not wrong. Doug and his crew care about what they do and the reputation that they are creating one job at a time. A week later our job was complete exactly as promised. Great workmanship, no surprises on the costs. I can’t recommend Doug and his crew enough. If I could give him a six-star rating I would. He’ll be back to do some outside work for us with our weeping tiles once the frost is out. Waffle Industries did an outstanding job. I highly recommend them and I’d welcome your call if you have any questions about the work that they do. Doug knows how to get in touch with us. Good luck with your project and think carefully before you hire anyone besides Doug. Joe-Gravenhurst, Ontario
