Crown Preservation accommodated our needs for damp proofing within days of providing a quote, which we found to be very reasonable. Declan is a real gentleman, quite impressed in responding right away to our queries and following up with further work that was identified. He did this without the least desire to gouge us, offering instead the additional work on minimal cost basis. My wife and I have nothing but praise for him and his team's work so far. A highly professional and honest person! Have no hesitation in recommending Crown preservation for your damp proofing needs. Thank you Declan!

Totally agree with the reviews saying Declan is a "snake oil salesman" and to avoid like the plague. Arranged for him to come for an estimate twice and both times he just did not turn up. Just got off the phone with him after he didnt turn up the second time and had to put the phone down after he was really offensive and started having a go at me the customer for his not turning up because I had not seen a message which was left confirming the appointment. Totally unprofessional

Declan and his team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They managed to fit the project in to coincide with my holiday and the team really went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the end result. Declan was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to work with. A huge thank you from me.

I would definitely recommend Crown Preservation for damp or dry rot issues. I had various companies visit me due to a case of dry rot in my kitchen. Of all four who came, it was only Declan who had decent equipment, with a camera which could investigate the spores and fruiting bodies within my stud wall and under my floorboards and provide me with helpful advice. After an exposure survey, which some companies also did not offer, they gave me a detailed quote which they stuck to and explained the work that would need be done, taking me through each stage and offering a realistic time frame. When it came to the work, they removed all the affected floor area and plasterwork, treating the rooms, replacing the floor and doing a great re-plastering job. The workers were friendly in general and they managed to cope with my flat being on a busy main road without close parking too much fuss. No obstacle was too big. Would definitely use again. Thanks, Jenny
