Terrific service, great attitude. Our 140 year old brick wall needed some repair and re-pointing. Richie worked on a Sunday to fit us into his schedule, did a great job, cleaned up well, he and his employee were pleasant and great to work with, and fairly priced. Highly recommended.

We have an old house from 1890 that had a leaky filed stone basement. I contacted Rich at LaPorte Masonry & Waterproofing Inc. and he came out the following week to access the job. He gave us a quote right away and his pricing was reasonable. We tried to schedule the project to be completed on a weekend but sure enough it rained every weekend for over a month. Once the weather finally cleared, Rich and his crew started work right away and finished ahead of schedule. Not only is my basement now dry, it is also now free from the mildew smell. Rich and his crew were very professional and respectful of our time and property by keeping it clean throughout the project. We would definitely hire Rich and his crew again for future projects.

We hired Rich and his crew to fix two leaking chimneys in our old 1860s house. They cut and repointed both chimneys and placed a new granite cap on top. Rich was great to work with throughout the project and he stayed right on his estimate. We even hired him for two smaller jobs inside and I’m so glad we did. They are true craftsman and take pride in their work. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy mason!!

Consider this as glowing of a review as one can get. Rich was absolutely great. I moved into my new home at the end of August with two masonry projects on tap: patching up a crack in the basement wall and giving our outside retaining wall some real TLC. Not only did Rich take the time to explain to me what was happening behind the surface of both areas, he patiently answered all of my uneducated questions regarding what he was planning on doing. By the time all my questions were answered, I knew he would do an awesome job. The kicker to all of this, is out of the four different quotes I received, he was the lowest by a good margin. And what an awesome job it was. The retaining wall looks practically new and it was built in the 50s! Even my father-in-law gave it his stamp of approval...and I'm still working on getting mine... If you need any masonry work done, Rich is definitely the guy you need to call. Guaranteed you'll love his work as much as I did.

Richards work was exceptional! He and his crew repaired both the brownstone lintels and sills on the face of our brick row house here in East Boston. He replaced 2 stones and patched the top floor stones because he said they were too far gone. They also applied a brick water repellent that lasts at least 10 yrs. As he stated before he began our project that-when he is finished the building will look like its "Hot off the press" thanks Rich!
