Examiner that I got is Janet. Kind of drizzly outside so going 5 below the speed limit. Still marked me a full 30 points for going slow. Got an automatic fail near the end because of yielding at a yellow sign. Perfection is what she is looking for and will absolutely find a way to give you points.

My name is Ahmed and after reading the reviews i was really hesitant to do my road test at this location. However i thought i should just study a bit more and ask questions before i got in the vehicle and also right before my road test. Janet who was my road test examiner was VERY STRAIGHT FORWARD about what she expects during the road test. very thorough and answered all my questions and asked if i fully understood her replies. Doing everything she expected, i passed my road test. After the road test i came inside and spoke with Chelsey who was very helpful in telling me everything i need to know and for any possible future charges i may run into. i noticed that you cant judge this place by reading the reviews, and that these people are very straight forward. every situation is different and how you react is really on you and not on the employees working at this establishment.

I took my class 5 test with rick and he was great!. Very friendly. He gave me some time to calm my nerves and ask any questions before we started. He was very clear with instructions of where he wanted me to turn and when to parallel park. Overall rick was very nice and I did pass my test. I used a driving school car and he did not fail me because of that like other reviews have said.

Went in today for registration renewal and seen the worst customer service from one of the registry clerks working up front. Clerk was being downright rude to the young girl. Looks like the clerk was having a bad day or something and decides to show her anger off. Clearly she is unhappy with working there, no smile, no customer service, no knowledge as a registry clerk. Not a right fit to be a registry clerk. Please fire the Asian clerk. Who refuses to help such a sweet girl. Worked in customer service for 35 years and never seen anything like this before. Get better staff Airdrie Registry😤

Took my Class 5 Advanced Exam with Janet last week. She put me at ease right away by setting out the test requirements and expectations. She was clear in her instructions and gave plenty of advance warning before turns/lane changes. She was very fair in her marking. The ladies at the counter were quick and efficient in giving me my new, upgraded license and outlining all the options I had available. Would definitely use this location again!
