The Canadian National Institute for the Blind is an AMAZING organization. In Calgary, it's a welcome destination for people who are vision impaired. Besides assisting their clients acclimate to a world with less vision, the CNIB organizes activities, education, and empowerment through their programs. The CNIB Bookstore is stocked with unique and proven products, all designed to increase the quality of life for their clients. The CNIB Staff are welcoming, informed, and compassionate. There are other companies, leasing space inside, including; The Alberta Sport and Recreation Association for the Blind (ASRAB), the Canadian Council for the Blind (CCB), and H2O2 Media, an affordable audio/video production studio.
