Alpine Clubs’ 6 bunk hostel room was the best price we could find near hiking in the mountains around Canmore. The kitchen helps keep costs low and it’s clean. The front desk has excellent service! Thank you so much Monica! It’s the little things that stand out, we were just going for a walk around the area after arriving and Monica gave us bear spray and a layout of the local paths. We later upgraded to a shared cabin, the cost was more but it was good to have all the options available!

Fantastic location, stunning views. Nice kitchen & friendly staff. Cabin options also great for groups & for semi-private rooms. Many folks from Calgary stay here to save driving back & forth while they spend the whole weekend in the mountains.

This place is great I can't believe I've never found it before. In the words of Arnie, 'I'll be back.

Great place to go... We stayed there for 2 nights and we would recommend it to anyone we meet as it is clean and well maintained.

The location was beautiful and the lounge had a beautiful view. The rooms were also clean. However, if you're not in a room with less than 4 people, the room layout was not so pleasant. I was staying in a 8 bed dorm and the rooms did not have enough outlets for people and some of the top bunk bed rails were the same level as the mattress, so rolling off the top bunk was a definite hazard.
