Amazing event for such a small town. It's good even if you don't care about the rodeo. We try to go every year. Unfortunately they don't allow you to bring your dog. Bring cash. Many first timers don't realize there is parking in the large field across the road. Don't waste your time driving all over town looking for parking. The $10 is worth it and part goes to charity.

We go to the IPE every year. Lots of animals to see. Rides, games, entertainment. Food vendors. It does cost 18 for adult admission and it costs to play games and go on rides so it can get pricey but just an annual event for us. Something for everyone. Parade if you make it for that. Other events, such as Rodeo.

Much better then the big fare in Vancouver. The IPE is you down home coun fare and they never disappoint. From live music to great vendors I never am bored here. The best part however would have to be the rodeo that seems to Alwyn sell out. I will be back Armstrong. I will be back.

Fantastic rodeo! Very cool to watch a rodeo at night with the fair in the background. I did find it frustrating that after purchasing ride passes and rodeo tickets online, I STILL had to pay to enter the fair grounds when I got there. Also, the IPE staff could take some time to familiarize themselves with the grounds if they are working there - 3 separate times I asked staff where something was and they flat out did not know (beer gardens, ticket window, bathrooms).

If you love rides it's great! If you love agriculture it's great! If you love horses it's great! We go every year. A do not miss event for us.
